We are keen to see CVs from individuals who possess the following:
• Recognised qualifications within Mechanical Engineering/Machining or experience working as a CNC Miller, Programmer, Machinist in a high precision manufacturing environment; the software we use is Fanuc.
• Previous experience working to strict quality tolerances & standards
• The ability of reading, interpreting and working directly from technical drawings and physical samples
• Previous experience of sub contract work would be useful
Working Hours of the CNC Miller:
Day shifts spread across 38 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Friday – 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Regular mid-week overtime paid at 1.5
In return, the CNC Miller will receive:
• Hourly rate between £13 & £15 per hour; open to negotiation depending on experience;
• Holiday Entitlement: 31 Days per annum (23 + bank holidays)
• Permanent employment with a stable, long-established, family-owned business
